Supporting Jaipur’s Largest Cleanliness Drive – Safai Seva Marathon 2026

Danish Power is proud to contribute to the “Safai Seva Marathon 2026”, one of Jaipur’s largest citywide cleanliness initiatives, organized by the Jaipur Municipal Corporation under the leadership of Commissioner Shri Om Kasera. The special cleanliness campaign was conducted across all 13 zones and 150 wards of Jaipur, with sanitation teams working continuously for nearly 14 hours to strengthen the city’s cleanliness infrastructure and promote the vision of “Clean Jaipur, Beautiful Jaipur.” As part of this large-scale public participation movement, Danish Power, in collaboration with the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), supported the initiative through the donation of 2,500 drinking water bottles for sanitation workers, field staff, and frontline teams participating in the drive. The campaign brought together municipal officials, sanitation workers, volunteers, and citizens in a collective effort to improve urban cleanliness, remove waste accumulation points, and create greater awareness around sustainable sanitation practices. According to Jaipur Municipal Corporation, the city already collects nearly 2,000–3,000 tonnes of waste daily, with even larger volumes expected during this special drive. Danish Power believes that community well-being begins with dignity, public health, and environmental responsibility. Supporting frontline sanitation workers during such intensive campaigns reflects our commitment to meaningful social impact and responsible corporate citizenship. We are honored to stand alongside civic authorities and industry partners in initiatives that contribute toward cleaner, healthier, and more sustainable cities.

Capacity Building for Women to Enhance Water Access under Rural Development Initiative

As part of its commitment to sustainable rural development and climate resilience, Danish Power is empowering women farmers in the Sambhar region of Rajasthan through an integrated water conservation and livelihood enhancement initiative. The project facilitated the construction of 55 farm ponds, each with a storage capacity of approximately 125,000 litres, creating a combined water conservation capacity of nearly 6.9 million litres. These farm ponds provide reliable irrigation for 82.5 bighas of farmland, reducing dependence on erratic monsoon rainfall and enabling year-round agricultural activities, including Rabi cultivation and multiple cropping cycles. Recognizing that sustainable development extends beyond infrastructure, the initiative also focused on building the knowledge and capabilities of women farmers. Seven capacity-building training programmes were conducted for 55 women beneficiaries, covering Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH), horticulture, organic farming practices, financial literacy, and digital literacy. To strengthen environmental sustainability and improve soil health, the project further supported the plantation of 3,300+ Khejri and fruit-bearing trees and established 55 vermicompost pits to promote organic farming practices.
